Trust & Safety Connect is hosted and attended by the Internet Dating Excellence Association (IDEA) and Online Social Community Association (OSCA). This is a 1.5 hour long event that is by-invite-only and will take place on Wednesday 27th October starting at 11am EST (New York time). The event starts with a half-hour of peer networking followed by a 45 minute panel, and then an additional half-hour of peer networking.

Norman Petty joined The Meet Group in March 2021 and is General Counsel. He leads the trust and safety team which is responsible for ensuring the safety of millions of active users across The Meet Group properties and on vPaaS partner apps. Â
Prior to joining The Meet Group, Norman spent the last 25 years as SVP and Associate General Counsel at The Wall Street Journal / Dow Jones. Â

Mariko spotted a market gap for Asian dating and started East Meet East, now EME Hive, in 2013. Mariko joined the dating industry in 2013.
Mariko received the Forbes Japan Women Award (most influential women in business, 2019). Quipper, an e-learning mobile app company which Mariko co-founded, was sold for $40m in 2015.
EME Hive is North America’s largest dating / live-streaming app for Asians.
Alice has been focused on Trust & Safety for digital communities for 11 years now. She joined Grindr in 2020 and before that, was at OKCupid for 10 years!
Cross-functional collaboration, process improvement and policy development is her jam.
Alice is focused on helping global platforms feel human, inclusive, and authentic.
Masha has been MD of Inner Circle for a year now.  Inner Circle is a community of 3.5 million singles in 57 cities in 27 countries around the world.
The company was also the winner of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 in The Netherlands in 2018.Â
Masha is a seasoned digital technology CMO and was at Park Now, DTG (the Dutch Yellow Pages), VNU, Excite@Home and Playboy, prior to Inner Circle. Â
